Fusha kryesore kërkimore është fiziologjia e aplikuar dhe dietologjia në funksion të hartimit dhe zbatimit të programeve stërvitore, veçanërisht në përmirësimin dhe zhvillimin e parametrave morfo-funksional dhe cilësive fizike nëpërmjet programeve të detajuar stërvitore dhe ushtrimore, si dhe aktiviteti fizik për të gjithë moshat për meshkuj dhe femra, veçanërisht te 12-14 vjeçarët. Gjatë studimeve doktorale fokusi ishte kryesisht në zakonet e të ushqyerit dhe aktivitetin fizik, me qëllim identifikimin e prevalencës së sjelljeve riskante, analizimin e ecurisë së tyre në kohë, përcaktimin e bashkëveprimit midis tyre, grumbullimin e të dhënave në nivel lokal dhe më gjerë, si dhe grumbullimin e të dhënave sipas kategorive të të rinjve. Në vazhdim fokusi është në hartimin e programeve stërvitore në funksion të popullatës për përmirësimin e shëndetit nëpërmjet aktivitetit fizik dhe fitnesit.
